Pigona vs Talksy

But Talksy still needs to be added to a server for auto-translate, routing, and glossary to work at all - a Pro subscription alone only guarantees the manual /translate command and unlimited personal quota everywhere.

1. Who actually pays: the server, or the member

Talksy's Pro tier is €8.99/month per user, but a single Pro-subscribed admin unlocks unlimited channel routing and glossary terms for the whole server - server-wide features that benefit every member, per Talksy's own FAQ. What stays personal is translation volume: each member gets a free 250-translation-a-month allowance, and only a member who personally subscribes gets unlimited volume for themselves. Pigona's plans are the other shape: one server subscription raises a shared credit pool everyone draws from, with no individual cap a separate subscription would need to lift.

2. What the free tier actually includes

Talksy's free tier is capped at 250 translations a month (100 automatic + 100 manual + 50 flag-reaction), resettable by voting on Top.gg - not unlimited, despite a homepage badge that says otherwise. Pigona's free Starter tier is credit-metered (150 credits/day, up to 750 translations a day, roughly 22,500/month) and runs the same Smart Context Engine every guild tier does - about 90x Talksy's free monthly allowance.

3. Delivery style

Talksy uses webhook-native "replace" delivery: the original message is deleted and reposted translated under the original member's name and avatar with a flag tag. Pigona gives a channel four delivery choices instead of one - public reply, a private on-demand response (Reactive Translation), a two-button panel (Translation Bridge), or a separate per-language channel (Relay Channels) - useful once a server has more than one target language.
