How to make big text in Discord

Discord has no big text option apart from markdown headers. But you can spell out words with regional indicator emojis: each letter A-Z has an emoji of its own, a letter on a blue square, and the digits 0-9 have keycap emojis. Type your text into the converter, copy the result and paste it into any Discord channel.

Supported characters

• Letters - A to Z, upper or lower case, become regional indicator emojis
• Numbers - 0 to 9 become keycap emojis
• Symbols - ! ? # * + - . , $ % & @ become emojis too, some as stand-ins: the period turns into a blue circle, the comma into a small blue diamond, $ into a dollar emoji, % into 💯, & into a link emoji and @ into an e-mail emoji
• Spacing - Normal puts a gap between words, Compact leaves out every gap, and Wide puts a gap between letters too; several spaces in a row count as one, and line breaks are kept
• Other characters - an accented letter such as é or ñ becomes its plain letter (E, N), while other alphabets and emoji are left out; the counter under the text box shows how many

Tips for Discord emoji text

Keep messages short - emoji letters take up a lot of space in chat, and the text box takes up to 100 characters. They work best for single words or short phrases like server announcements, welcome messages or reaction game answers. Long sentences flood the chat and may annoy other members.

Two letters next to each other that form a country code, such as U and S, can show up as a flag in Discord. If that happens, switch to Wide spacing, which puts a gap between every letter.
